Meet the Team

Alex qualified in 2013. He was awarded the Nuffield Medal and a letter of commendation for his performance in the FRCA examination. He was appointed as a consultant anaesthetist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in 2022, and completed the European Diploma of Regional Anaesthesia in 2024.

His interests and expertise lie in ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, paediatric ENT surgery and the use of total intravenous anaesthesia.

Alex has written several publications and co-authored a book.

Bernard is a consultant anaesthetist at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He practises privately in and out of London.

He is an experienced regional anaesthetist, holding the European Diploma of Regional Anaesthesia since 2013.

He regularly anaesthetises for orthopaedic, ENT, urological and cosmetic procedures. 

Elliott qualified from the University of Oxford in 2013 and is a consultant anaesthetist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

He has specialist expertise in preoperative risk assessment and high-risk anaesthesia. He works with surgeons from urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, ENT, general and plastic surgery.

He regularly provides general, spinal and regional anaesthesia to adults and children, including total intravenous anaesthesia.

Husam qualified in Iraq before undergoing his anaesthetic training in centres of excellence in Paris and London. 

His main interests are in anaesthesia for obstetrics and gynaecology, cosmetic surgery, orthopaedics and breast surgery.  His NHS base is at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

He is committed to education and training, running multiple courses, and has several publications related to anaesthesia.

Kenny completed his anaesthetic training in Scotland and London, becoming a consultant at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in 2012.

His special interests are in anaesthesia for gynaecological, general and cosmetic surgery.

Manish trained in India before relocating to the UK in 2003. He has been a consultant at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust since 2012.

His forte is regional anaesthesia, which he performs with ultrasound guidance for both upper and lower limb surgery.

He runs a regional anaesthesia course and is regularly invited to teach on other courses nationally and internationally.

Peter is a consultant at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in both anaesthesia and intensive care.

In the private sector he anaesthetises regularly for gynaecological and orthopaedic surgery. He is accomplished in all major ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, as well as spinal anaesthesia.

Ramesh is an experienced anaesthetist with an NHS base at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The majority of his practice is in anaesthesia for orthopaedic and cosmetic surgery. He performs a variety of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks for postoperative pain relief.

He has a keen interest in medical education and in optimising high-risk surgical patients.

Renata has worked as an anaesthetic consultant in both Poland and the UK. Her NHS base is at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. 

She has wide-ranging anaesthetic experience in urology, ENT and breast surgery, particularly cosmetic surgery.

She is a keen proponent of environmentally-sustainable anaesthesia.

Uthappa has been a consultant at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust since 2012, having completed anaesthetic training in both India and the UK. 

He has a special interest in regional anaesthesia and proudly holds the European Diploma of Regional Anaesthesia.

He regularly anaesthetises for orthopaedic, ENT and cosmetic surgery.
